Abstract:
Based on some relations of damaged continuum mechanics, a non-stationary deformation and failure of structures of a piecewise-homogeneous materials with a regular structure are simulated. A finite element method and an explicit finite-difference time integration scheme are applied for the problem analysing. Deformation and failure of a masonry under explosive loading are considered. The calculated results are compared with the experiment data.
