Influence of heat exchange between phases by radiation on parameters of a two-phase turbulent jet

Abstract:
The mathematical model of a two-phase turbulent jet considering heat exchange between phases by radiation is stated. With use of this model calculations of two-phase jets parameters with the account and without radiant heat exchange are carried out. Thus radiation in environment was absent. Comparison of these calculations results has allowed to reveal influence of radiant heat exchange between phases on distribution of two-phase jets. Value of initial particles concentration in jet is found at which heat exchange between phases by radiation it is possible not to consider at calculation of jets. It is shown that heat exchange between phases by radiation makes essentially smaller impact on parameters of a two-phase jet in comparison with convective heat exchange.
