Abstract:
In this paper the further development of continua models for traffic flows simulations is presented. The model for changeable sound speed is developed. Numerical simulations of traffic flows using visco-elastic effect were performed. We consider the effects, based on the driver’s estimation of velocity gradients between his automobile and the transport ahead. According to velocity gradients we can predict the traffic situation and the change of density of the traffic.
