GPU computing for scene analysis by their images using random morphology

A. V. Zubyuk

Lomonosov Moscow State University, Faculty of Physics
References:
Abstract: Recognition of an object with random shape on undefined background is considered. GPU-based algorithm solving such a problem is developed. The developed algorithm is applied to the detection of handwritten digits in given images. Acceleration achieved by use of GPU compared to CPU is estimated.
Keywords: morphological image analysis, likelihood ratio criteria, parallel computing, GPU computing.
