Abstract:
In this paper we propose a new efficient numerical method for determining the nodes and weights for quadrature formulas of Gauss, which is adapted to calculate the integrals with rapidly oscillating integrand. In particular, the application, the method used for the integrals of the kinetic theory of gases.
