To modeling of electron tunneling from ultrathin blade cathode

Abstract:
We suggest an alytical model for a potential barrier near the tip of an ultrathin edge field emitter for modeling of electron tunneling transport. The model is shown to describe adequately the barrier as compared to conventional approach in field emission treatment.
