Abstract:
The mathematical model of a two-phase turbulent jet including system of the mean equations and model of turbulence G.N. Abramovich's, grounded on a hypothesis about interaction of phases in two-phase turbulent streams is given. Working capacity of this model proves to be true comparison of calculations results with data of L. B. Gavin's with the co-authors experiments spent for a case of big disperse phase concentration in jet. Results of calculations of two-phase jets with mass account concentration of a disperse phase from 0.5 to 40, allowed to reveal feature of twophase jets distribution with big concentration of particles are presented. The obtained data can be used at designing of new installations of the big power and activity range for fire suppression.
