Asymptotic model of a thin shock layer near wedge/cone for the Burnett equations
A. L. Ankudinov Central Aerohydrodynamic Institute
Abstract:
Asymptotic estimates of the order of the two-dimensional Burnett equations members for the hypersonic rarefied gas flow specific regions (layers) in the thin shock layer near surface were made. On the base of this asymptotic analysis, based on physical and theoretical premises, it was formulated a simplified (in accordance with the conception of a thin viscous shock layer) Burnett model of the flow near a non-thin bodies, presented for the surfaces in the form of a wedge/cone.
