Abstract: Requirements with which should satisfy modern fast reactors are formulated. Mathematical modelling of an active zone the fast reactor of BN-800 type with nitride uranium-plutonium fuel in SANNR-2 is spent. Different variants of active zones are compared. Advantages of active zone of new type are shown.
