Numerical investigation of surface wave generation and wave passing over the underwater obstacle

References:
Abstract: Within approach of shallow water theory the numerical modeling problem of surface wave generation by draining of a liquid into the trench and generated wave passing over the obstacle are considered. The trench is formed with a falling bottom and the obstacle is in the form of an underwater ridge. Main parameters of the problem, influencing on generated wave features, were revealed.
