Double-filtration algorithm for two-dimensional tomography

A. V. Likhachov

Institute of Automation and Electrometry SB RAS
References:
Abstract: New algorithm of two-dimensional tomography is suggested and investigated. In contrast to the other algorithms it filters both the projections and the two-dimensional image. The double-filtration algorithm is shown in the numerical simulations to provide for few projections higher reconstruction quality then filtered backprojection method, in particular, Shepp–Logan algorithm.
