Numerical simulation of two-dimensional detonation flows in reactive particle gas suspensions

Abstract:
The paper presents a physical and mathematical model and a numerical technology for investigation of detonation flows in suspensions of gas and reactive particles. The numerical methods are tested on problems of detonation initiation and propagation in aluminum particle gas suspension. Illustrations of two-dimensional detonation flows are given.
