Abstract: Work is devoted to development of economic difference schemes for mathematical modeling radionuclide pollution in an atmosphere. The distribution of Kr-85 activity from a point source is calculated in view of influence of a relief on transport of a radioactive cloud. The data received as a result of modeling and computational experiments allow analyzing ecological safety of normal working mode and design-basis accident of the Volgodonsk atomic power station.
