Quantum-statistical calculations of thermodynamics and hugoniots (codes QSM)

Abstract:
The software system called QSM 2, 3, and 4 are described. This software provides computation of thermodynamic tables and Hugoniot adiabatic curves. The method uses Thomas-Fermi model with quantum and exchange corrections. The effective algorithm is proposed for Hugoniot adiabatic curves computation using thermodynamic functions tables. The method provides high accuracy of computation even for rare net of tables which make it suitable for standard codes composition. As an examples the computation of Hugoniot adiabatic curves are given for aluminium, ferrum and water with thermodynamic tables, corresponding for different theoretical models and composed on different nets.
