Abstract: On the basis of thermoelastics methods the mathematical description of model of closing of a crack in an elastic plane with the help of the induced thermal field is carried out. The definition of unknown contact stress and sizes of contact zones is reduced to the solution singular integral equation. With the help of algebraization procedure the integral equation is reduced to the system of the nonlinear algebraic equations, which is decided by a method of consecutive approximations.
