Computation of the magnetic field and temperature evolution in a current conducting hoop in an external uniform field

Abstract:
We consider the electric current damping in a conductive hoop, put in an external uniform magnetic field, and the evolution of its proper field. The mathematical model includes the Joule heating of the hoop and the corresponding decrease of its electric conductivity. Asa result of computation we obtain the current decrement dependence on hoop dimensions and on the external field value.
