Application of compressibility scaling method for calculation of steady viscous gas and gas mixture flows in Laval nozzles
Yu. E. Egorov, M. Kh. Strelets, M. L. Shur
Abstract:
For numerical simulation of steady chemicaly nonequilibrium gas mixtures in Laval nozzles a generalisation of preveously developed method of numerical integration of Navier–Stokes equations with arbitrary values of character Mach number of flow (the compressibility scaling method) to the case of multiscale flows containing large sub- and supersonic regions is proposed. As an example of application of the developed method a flow of four component chemicaly reacting gas mixture in oxidizing nozzle of HF-chemical laser of continious action is investigated.
