About one approach for solution of the magnetostatic problem in hybrid formulation

E. P. Zhidkov, A. V. Fedorov, O. I. Yuldashev

Joint Institute for Nuclear Research
Abstract: An approach for construction of hybrid formulations of magneto static problem is developed. Only one boundary full matrix is required for numerical implementation of this class of formulations. One formulation for total scalar potential is investigated in the space of gradient functions. Uniqueness and existence of the solution and convergence of the Galerkin approximations are proved. Some results of 2D numerical experiments including solution of the nonlinear 2D problem are given.
