Abstract: Fluid flow and heat transfer in two-dimensional wavy channels of uniform and varying cross-sectional area were investigated numerically using control volume method. The calculations were performed for different Reynolds numbers and geometric parameters. The computed flow field was found to be characterized by massive recirculation zones.
