Abstract: The Krylov–Kolmogorov enthropy of a disodered Lennard–Jones system is considered by the molecular dynamics method in a wide range of the system temperature and density. The exponentially diverging parts of initially close trajectories are found everywhere in the considered parameter ranges. The problem of consistency of Newtonian and statistical mechanics in discussed.
