Numerical simulation of the sound radiating extremum problems in a plane waveguide

G. V. Alekseev, E. G. Komarov

Institute of Applied Mathematics, Far-Eastern Branch of the Russian Academy of Sciences
Abstract: The theory of the sound radiating extiemum problems in a regular plane waveguide is developed. These problems consist in maximization of the power radiated by source into the far zone of the waveguide under limitation to supplied energy and also in active suppressing (minimization) of the parasitical field. The computational aspects of the developed theory and the results of the computer simulation are discussed.
