Approximation of boundary conditions for the hydroelastic problems

N. I. Alexandrova

Institute of Mining Russian Academy of Sciences, Siberian Branch
Abstract: We study different approximations of boundary conditions in explicit finite-difference schemes for transient fluid- structure interaction problems. As a model problem, we use one-dimensional problem, that describes motion of piston, interacted with acoustic fluid-filled rigid circular cylindrical shell. We look for stable and the most exact scfiemes tor trie model problem by comparing analytic solution of differential equations and analytic solutions of difference problems, obtained by the operational calculus of function of discrete argument.
