Mathematical modelling of the process of monomolecular thermal desorption in nonideal adsorbate layer taking into account a formation of superstructurs

M. V. Lomonosov Moscow State University
Abstract: Mathematical modelling of the process of monomolecular thermal desorption on a monocrystall surface taking into account an interaction and phase transitions in adsorbed layer is fullfilled. It is shown with the help of distributed model, that the phenomena of appearance and dissapearance of superstructurs can be accompanied by strong changes of desorption rate and lead to splitting of desorption spectra. A satisfactory conformity of the results of computational and natural experiments for the system $\mathrm{CO}/\mathrm{Ru}(001)$ were received.
