Mathematical modelling of forming of island structures on a monocrystall surface

G. G. Yelenin, A. G. Makeev

M. V. Lomonosov Moscow State University
Abstract: Mathematical modelling of migration of particles in nonideal adsorbed layer on a monocrystall surface is fultilled taking into account an attraction between the first neighbours. The multiple dynamics of appearing and forming of islands of surface liquid is described. An existance of critical sizes of drops of surface liquid is detected. The regions of soft and stiff appearing of island structures are outlined. The dependence of a chemical potential of adsorbed layer on an average coverage of the surface is investigated.
