Analytical solution of the kinetic equation in the problem
about point-like source in polyatomic gases

Abstract:
The exact solution of the BGK analog for the kinetic equation for the dotty radiant or a particle emitter in the polyatomic gas is given. The analysis of an energy and temperature assignment for progressive and rotative degrees of freedom of molecules under their separate drive is conducted. As an application studied the question of the heat defocus of the laser beam. Approved that in a case when the effective radius of beam's section is congruous with the length of the free run of gas molecules, the deviation angle of a peripheral beam can overshoot the account, calculated in gasodynamic mode twicefold or more.
