Abstract: Utilization of kinetically-consistent finite-difference schemes for simulating slightly rarefied gas flows at Knudsen number $\approx0.01$ is considered in the work. A numerical technique is developed to parallelize ID and 2D explicit schemes on multiprocessor transputer-based systems with distributed memory. A description and program source texts are presented for user-oriented system shell designed to work with transputers.
