Numerical simulation of viscous, free-surface, creeping flow with boundary element method
V. A. Yakutenok Scientific Research Institute of Applied Mathematics and Mechanics by Tomsk State University
Abstract:
This paper is concerned with application of the indirect boundary element method for numerical simulation of two-dimensional, viscous, incompressible, free-surface flow with low Reynolds number. For this class of problems the main correlations of indirect BEM are obtained and results of it's application for numerical simulation of flow in plane, vertical canal and for numerical simulation of partly liquid-filled, rotating, horizontal cylinder are represented.
