Abstract: Different models proposed for research of ionic microfield distribution in plasmas are analyzed and compared with Monte Carlo simulations which take into account movement of electrons. One can see that for plasmas with intermediate coupling these models don't lead to ac urate results. A new method for ionic microfield modelling in multicomponent plasmas is developed. It provides a good agreement with Monte Carlo simulations.
