Shocked gas flow simulation via unstructured grids. Part 1

P. A. Voinovich, D. M. Sharov

Ioffe Physico-Technical Institute, Russian Academy of Sciences
Abstract: Unstructured grids are used to develop a finite volume shock-capturing conservative method for the unviscous shocked gas flow computations. An explicit quasimonotone high-accuracy scheme for arbitrary unstructured grids is proposed. Examples of shock wave propagation through complex geometry domains are considered.
