Influence of temperature – dependent thermodynamic, optical characteristics and equation of state of
laser – irradiated metal on shape of photoacoustic pulse

Abstract:
The thermal generation of the elastic waves is considered in laser-irradiated metal with taking into account of the temperature dependence of state equations, the thermodynamic and the optical characteristics of material. The influence of these quantities on frequency, phase and amplitude of the photoacustic pulse is analyzed. It is shown that the state equation and the absorptivity has the major influence on the amplitude of the pulse. The phase of pulse change mainly under variation of the absorptivity.
