Mathematical models and computer experiment

On three dimensional nonlinear problem of lazer metal processing and optimal scanning trajectory

H. Karabelli

Kocaeli University
Abstract: In this paper heat spreading in a metal, while laser beam scanning along different trajectories is investigated. A mathematical statement ot the problem, a numerical method of its sobving and computational experiment results are represented. Hie obtained results permit to clarify a qualitative picture of heat distribution on a surface as well as inside a metal and thus to choose scanning trajectory.
