Mathematical model of gasdischarge and heat processes in technological lasers chamber

Abstract: The theory and effective method to calculate processes in discharge laser chambers of complex two-dimensional geometry are developed. The discharge process and electric field are discribed by continuity equations for electroneutral plasma density and current density, the ambipolar diffusion and drift, convection, ionization, recombination being taken into account. Velocity and gas temperature distribution are discribed by gasdynamics (Navier–Stokes) equations. Numerical results for the case of plane channel with transversal discharge between three sectionized cathodes charged by individual ballasts and common anode are given.
