Engineering calculation method of energy absorption under x-ray action on multilayered targets in air media

Abstract:
The engineering method of calculation for energy absorption in multilayered composite target is offered at action of hard x-ray radiation in view of change of its characteristics as a result of passage of the air envi-ronment previous an irradiation. The method consists of three consistently carried out settlement stages: preliminary statistical calculations of passage of radiation through the air environment for the monochro-matic, directional, instant sources and creation by their results of a database; definitions by means of the received database and the developed parametrical technique of characteristics of radiation at a surface of a target; calculations of parameters for energy absorption in a target by the engineering technique approxi-mately considering processes of dispersion and fluorescence.
Results of calculations for energy absorption in target of organic-plastic with a protective external layer from sphere-plastic at various spectra of influencing radiation and mass distances passed by it in air are given.
