Computational methods and algorithms

Numerical simulation of radiative gasdynamics problems using multyprocessor distributed memory computer systems

T. K. Kozubskaya

Institute for Mathematical Modelling, Russian Academy of Sciences
Abstract: In this article the question concerned with the construction of parallel algorithms for numerical simulation of ID radiative gasdynamics problems are discussed. The elaborated strategy for parallel computation is implemented to the program package RADIAN designed earlier for IBM-compartible PC. The main idea of the parallel algorithm construction consists in the “instrumental” method for redusing transport equation dimensionality based on the spectrum multigroup approach.
