Numerical modelling of heat and mass transfer in 3-D cavities

Abstract:
Possibilities of implementation of numerical algoritms on multiprocessor computing systems are investigated by the example of К.С.F.D.S. for solving gasdynamic problems. Different types of parallelization for solving 3-Dimensional problems are considered and parallelization efficiency is estimated. Results of numerical simulation of the flow over 3-D cavities for two types of boundary conditions are presented. Multiprocessor computing system APS-48, consisting of 32 transputers T800 is used for computation. Cavities with different configurations are examined in this article.
