Electromagnetic properties of the non-uniform cylindrical particle of final length

E. V. Zavitaev, A. A. Yushkanov

Moscow State Forest University
Abstract: The cross-section of magnetic absorption of a fine cylindrical particle with a dielectric nucleus and a metal environment is designed. The general case when the relation of radius of a dielectric nucleus to radius of a particle can accept arbitrary values is considered. The relation of radius of a particle to its length also can be arbitrary. Boundary conditions of diffusive reflection of conduction electrons from internal and external surfaces of a metal layer of a particle and from its end faces are considered. Limiting cases are considered and discussion of the obtained results is carried out.
