Abstract: The structure of the unsteady supersonic flow in 2D cavity at a freestream Mach number $M_\infty=1.35$ and Reynolds number $\operatorname{Re}_h=3.3\times10^4$ is investigated numerically. The case of appearing of self-sustained pressure oscillation within the cavity is considered. The main characteristics of unsteady oscillatory motion are presented. For the numerical modelling of these regimes the algorithm of kinetical-consistent finite difference schemes is used. These schemes were used successfully earlier for the complex gasdynamic flows.
