Plane model of cylindrical forced (non-adiabatic) wave of exothermic chemical reaction in the condensed medium

G. V. Zhizhin, I. A. Obukhova

St. Petersburg Reserch Institute of Chemical Machinery
Abstract: The plane model of cylindrical forced (non-adiabatic) wave of exothermic chemical reaction of a first order in condensed medium was built and investigated qualitatively and numerically. The system of model equations has catastrophe point of a new type not including in Thorn classification. It was found that specific productivity of forced wave with certain choice of parameters may exceed specific productivity of adiabatic (self-regulated) wave essentially if the equal values of common parameters for these waves are taken.
