Abstract:
There has been realized a 2-dimensional electromagnetic code in the $(r-\Theta)$ geometry with selfconsistent emission of electrons from a cathode. The code is intended for investigation of dynamics of charged particles beams with azimuthal modulation and mechanism of microwave radiation generation on an axial-nonsymmetric modes in high-current systems with a virtual cathode. The code correctness is verified by means of test computations. The code has great service possibilities for numerical results processing, visualization and curves plotting. There are presented results of the electromagnetic radiation generation on an axial-nonsymmetric modes in a coaxial triode with a virtual cathode with a radial converging electron flow.
