Study of vibration in Hartman's disk generator

A. I. Sokolov

Scientific Industrial Firm "Prostor"
Abstract: The results of numerical simulation for ideal gas flow in radial Hartman's generator are presented. Different modes of vibration were observed, when the inlet was placed at the edge of the third jet cell. Internal (inside the resonator) and external (along the edge of the flow) paths of disturbance transmission were considered. Weaker disturbances transmitted along external path are shown to influence on the mode and the amplitude of internal stronger disturbances.
