Mathematical model of $\mathrm{NO}+\mathrm{CO}/\mathrm{Pt}(100)$ reaction. Comparison of simulation results with experimental data

A. G. Makeev

M. V. Lomonosov Moscow State University
Abstract: A new mathematical model of the reaction $\mathrm{NO}+\mathrm{CO}/\mathrm{Pt}(100)-(1\times1)$ is proposed. Model provides quantitative description of different and non-trivial experimental data including thermodesorption and thermoreaction spectra, the “surface explosion”, the existence range for kinetic oscillations in the space of external parameters, the dependency of the oscillations period on temperature, hysteresis etc.
