The use of transfer equation for modeling of filtration

Abstract:
The filtering of water stream with suspended particles through deep grain bed filter is considered. The capture coefficient depending of particles density is defined with the thin layer capture coefficient. It enables to apply the nonlinear transfer equation to filter modeling.
