Institute for Mathematical Modelling, Russian Academy of Sciences
Abstract: The best mean-square approximation by splines of arbitrary power was investigated. The simple algorithm was constructed for calculation of these splines coefficient Accuracy of splines of different powers was investigated as theoretically so on numerical tests Some recommendations were given for applied calculations; they were checked on actual problems.
