Abstract:
This paper continues the series of papers describing the code package Gefest for dynamic elasticity problems. It considers the modified Lanzosh method solving the partial general eigenvalue problem, the method of eigenfunctions series expansion and the numerical algorithm integrating the initial value differential system of equilibrium equations resulted from finite element discretization of 3D structure. The efficient numerical procedures are used for sparse linear algebraic systems arising in the algorithms. The paper contains the results of calculations using the described algorithms for the following problems: the problem of forced oscillations of acoustic diaphragm and the aeroelasticity problem of oscillations of plate cavity bottom forced by filling air flow.
