The waves diffraction on the upright cylindrical walls

Yu. Z. Aleshkov

St. Petersburg State University, Faculty of Applied Mathematics and Control Processes
Abstract: The problem of force influence on the ingoing waves onto upright walls is analyzed. These walls are considered to be immersed to a hard bottom. The cases of homogeneous and continuously stratified fluid's layers are described. Attention is given to the double layer of the fluid. The waves research in the fluid's layer which being supposed to be situated over a porous bottom represents a special interest.
