Abstract: The problem of equilibrium of elastic body with microstructure that undergo phase transformations has been developed. The continuum Cosserat model has been used as the model of micrononhomogeneous media. The phase transitions conditions have been obtained on the basis of Gibbs variational principle. The neutral equilibrium equations have been formulated. As an example the problem of buckling of two-phase elastic ball with couple stresses has been investigated.
