Transfer of radiation in the artificial barium cloud at its photoionization by the sunlight

Abstract:
The process of scattering of light by an artificial barium cloud is modeled at its photoionization by a broadband sunlight. The problem is described by a system of the balance equations of multilevel atoms and ions and the equation of transfer of radiation. The received system has the integro-differential nature. The numerical method of its decision is developed for the spherical-symmetric cloud. The photoexcitation and photoionization kinetic, frequency-angular and a spatial-time characteristics scattered by cloud of the sunlight is investigated when the transfer of radiation was taken into account on atomic ($\lambda =553.5$ nm) transition and three ionic transitions ($\lambda =455.4$ nm, 493.4 nm, 614.2 nm). The behavior of brightness dynamics of a cloud in atomic and ionic resonant lines is qualitatively coincides to results of the natural experiments.
