Abstract:
The physico-mathematical, algorithmic and technological problems of the numerical modeling of laminar-turbulent flow around isolated bodies are considered. The Favre-averaged system of Navier–Stokes equations as well as several semiempirical (algebraic and differential) models of turbulence are used for a description of gas flows. The effect of the flow scenarios and turbulence models used on the problem solution are investigated.
