Kinetically consistent difference algorithm for simulation of gasdynamic flows on triangular meshes

Abstract:
On the base of approximation of kinetic transport equation by the upwind finite difference scheme for mesh cells with an arbitrary number of edges the kinetically consistent finite difference scheme (KCFD) including the discretization of Navier–Stokes fluxes for the numerical simulation of gasdynamic flows on triangular meshes has been elaborated The numerical technique developed has been applied for the prediction of gasdynamic flows
around bodies.
