Computerised library on transport properties of atmosphere gases and plasma
I. A. Sokolova Institute for Mathematical Modelling, Russian Academy of Sciences
Abstract:
The computerised library on transport properties of gases and their mixtures is worked out for wide ranges of pressure and temperature from chemical frozen mixture to chemical equilibrium dissociated and ionized ones. The library includes discription of the models for calculation coefficients of viscosity, thermal conductivity, multicomponent diffusion, thermodiffusion, electrical conductivity with different accuracy [1]. Applied programm packages jointly with programm complex SOVA are meant for numerical calculations transport properties of gas mixtures of elements H, C, O, N, Ar, e, and their chemical combinations while the chemical nonequilibrium and chemical equilibrium states are. The data base of collision integrals needed for transport properties had been worked out jointly with AVOGADRO centre. Computerized library fills gap between known table data for transport properties at low temperatures (Vargaftic N. B. 1972) [2] and electrical properties of full ionized gases (Kalitkin N. N. 1972) [3].
